I live in Seattle and enjoy writing novels, short stories and essays. I’ve written for a handful of publications, both in Seattle and New Zealand, and I’ve also published academically. 2018 is the year in which I’m committed to shop my historical crime novel, Throw Away Faces, to one-hundred publishers—I’m at 18. To make matters worse, I’m trying to enter as many non-fiction writing contests that I can handle to stay connected to reallife issues and stories. My three favorite places on earth are the Long Room, Trinity College Dublin, the Cavelossum coastline, Goa, India, and the Ballard locks, Seattle. I’m currently reading works by James Hogg, John McPhee and Hannah Arendt. I also love baseball; it’s between the pitch and the swing where I forget about everything else.
